In addition to closing sales, Thierry Boutsen has taken part in several sporting events within the Monaco community. On Sunday, May 6th, he participated in the Champagne and Oyster Cycling Club’s annual 140km ride from St. Tropez to Monaco along with several others from the motorsport world including Mika Häkkinen, Eddie Jordan, and Ray Bellm. Since the first ride in 2012, the organization’s event has raised 700,000 Euros to benefit the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. “Being an avid cyclist, this is one of my favorite events of the year” remarks Mr. Boutsen, “Last year, we had the honor to ride alongside HSH Prince Albert II, which was a momentous experience.”

Just one week later, Mr. Boutsen returned to his Formula One roots for the occasion of the Monaco Historical Grand Prix. Over the course of two days, he drove for the Williams team at the F1 Heritage Parade, which celebrated the history of Lotus, McLaren, and Williams. Following the race, he was delighted to have dinner with his old friend Bernie Ecclestone, former Chief Executive of the Formula One Group.
